Wheelchair users are very welcome to use the spa. 

Changing rooms/toilets
We have spacious changing rooms with adapted showers and HC toilets, and HC toilets in both the wet room section and in the relaxation zone (second and third floors).

Lifts
The spa section has a lift, so that you can reach it easily in a wheelchair. You can also use a lift to get from the wet room section on the second floor to the relaxation zone on the third floor.

Sauna, thermal bath, steam bath 
There are a few steps with a railing down to the thermal bath. You can get right up to the steps in a wheelchair. Unfortunately, there is no ramp or lift for the thermal bath. It may be difficult to use the steam bath and the sauna in the spa section in a wheelchair. 

The relaxation zone
Wheelchair users can access the whole relaxation zone. 

Treatment rooms
The treatments rooms are situated on the third floor, beside the relaxation zone. We have adjustable treatment tables, which can be adjusted up or down as you require. There is a HC toilet beside the treatment rooms, and access to a lift.

Kafé Løsta
Kafé Løsta is situated right beside Union Bad & Spa, and is easily accessible to guests using the pools and spa, including wheelchair users.

The pool area is less adapted for wheelchair users. Contact the Spa reception to use an adapted changing room with an adapted shower and HC toilet. These changing rooms are close to the pool area. There is no ramp or lift for the pool. If possible, you can use steps with a railing to get into the pool, The sauna in the pool area is accessible to wheelchair users.

Dogs

From January 1st 2024 we no longer allow dogs or other animals in the hotel. Exception for guide dog at work. We highly recommend using Solhaug Dog and Cat Hotel in Skodje for your pet when you are planning to visit us.
