We look forward to welcoming you as our guest. Below you will find some practical information that can be useful to know prior to your stay with us:
Check in
We guarantee that the room will be ready by 3 p.m. It is possible to check in earlier, but we cannot guarantee that the room will be ready before 15. We have a luggage room where you can store your luggage - then you are welcome to use the hotel facilities or explore Geiranger until the room is ready.
Check out
Check out is at 12.00. If we have the capacity we offer late check out for an additional fee upon request.
Dogs
From January 1st 2024 we no longer allow dogs or other animals in the hotel. Exception for guide dog at work. We highly recommend using Solhaug Dog and Cat Hotel in Skodje for your pet when you are planning to visit us.
Breakfast
Breakfast is always included in your stay. Breakfast is served in Restaurant Fjorden on 1st floor. Timings: Monday - Saturday 07.00 - 10.00, Sunday 07.00 - 10.30.
Dinner
Dinner is served in Restaurant Fjorden on 1st floor from 18.30 - 21.00 (During summer from 18.30). If you have booked a stay with dinner included it is normally the Union buffet in Restaurant Fjorden that is included. Some days during the low season it might be a 3 course dinner instead of buffet, the Reception will then inform you about that when you check in.
Restaurant Julie
Restaurant Julie is our a la carte restaurant. Here we serve both lunch and dinner. Lunch from 12.00 - 17.00 and dinner from 18.00 - 22.00.
Café Løsta
On 3rd floor next to the pool you will find Café Løsta. Here we serve small lunch courses and other refreshments. During the summer it is also nice to enjoy a lunch outside in our garden with a spectacular view of the Geirangerfjord. Food is served from 12.00 - 17.00 and drinks until 19.00.
Lounge bar and pizza take away
In our lounge on 1st floor you can order refreshments and pizza. You can also order the pizza as take away from 12.00 - 22.00 and bring it to your room, the garden or to bring out on your hike.
Union Bath
Entry to Union Bath is included in your stay. Opening hours are from 06.00 - 22.30. Here you can access a large heated indoor pool, an outdoor heated therapy pool, an indoor Childrens pool, sauna and daybeds for relaxing. There are dressing rooms in connection with the pool area, but you will find bathrobes and slippers for adults in your room so feel free to change to your swimsuit in your room.
Union Spa
To visit Union Spa you have to pay an entrance fee. Day visit NOK 400,- pr person and weekend pass costs NOK 700 pr person. The age limit for visiting Union Spa is 18 years (16 years accompanied by an adult). In Union Spa you will access a large wellness area with relax areas, Japanese hot tub, "theme showers" and saunas. Spa breakfast is served between 10.00-12.00. Parking
We offer free parking just outside the hotel. If you park in the parking lots alongside the road please make sure that your cars is parked so that it won't be in the way of the traffic.
Charging stations
We have 6 charging stations right outside the hotel. Please contact the reception to connect your car and pay for charging. Important! It is very important that you move your car as soon as you are finished charging. There are more charging stations next to Norsk Fjordsenter just across the hotel.
Childrens playroom
On 3rd floor next to the pool department you will find our Childrens playroom.
Activity room
In the basement you will find an activity room with biljards and air hokey.
Fitness room
Our fitness room is located on 2nd floor in connection to Union Bad & Spa.
